DNS (Domain Name System) is a system that translates a domain name from letters (www.ansysnet.com) into a numerical IP address ( Each time you register a domain name you must specify your DNS information. If you register a domain name through Ansysnet.com, you can use DNS information free of charge! This is known in the industry as "parking" a domain- parking is free using ansysnet.com's servers. You can also change the DNS information at any time, also free of charge, but be aware, your new DNS host may charge you a parking fee.

5.How long does it take for DNS changes to take effect?
Typically, the DNS changes will be completed within 24 to 72 hours. This is standard Internet propagation time. The central registry databases update automatically, upon your submission of new information.

9. Do you offer NT or UNIX plans?
We offer UNIX web hosting accounts (Linux). We do not offer Windows for web hosting for several reasons, especially high cost of licensing.

10. How do I access my Cpanel control panel?
You can login to your Cpanel control panel at http://yoursite.com/cpanel where "yoursite" is your own domain name.

11. Where are my statistics?
Click the report button after logging into Cpanel and click on Tools option, then click on Web/FTP Stats. This will open your statistics for that domain.

You are still seeing the default index.html page set up when you ordered your hosting plan through us. Make sure to delete that old index.html page, then your site should resolve correctly.

22. How long does it take for my DNS changes to update world wide?
Normally you can expect to see your web site DNS to change within 24 hours once you have made the modifications at your registrar. However, we have seen it take up to 7 days in some cases where registrars and ISPs are a little slower.

23. Why isn't my SSI working?
In order for SSI to be executed, you must rename all of your web pages to .shtml rather than .htm or .html. This solves the majority of SSI errors.

No, you can register your domain name at any domain registration company of your choice. Once you have registered a domain name you may then sign up with ansysnet.com in order to host it. Please make sure you enter ns1.firstonline-server.net as Primary Server Name and ns2.firstonline.net as Secondary Server Name.

31. Will you place any ads on my site?
NO, we will never place any ads, banners, pop-ups or advertising of any kind on your website. You have full control of your ftp and can upload your own webpage according to your requirement.

32. Do you offer a money back guarantee?

33. Do you support Active Server Pages (ASP), Cold Fusion?
No, our servers are LINUX based and we do not support it. This is only supported on Windows NT platform. We have chosen the simplicity and many useful features of using LINUX servers. The wide availability of scripts supported on LINUX based operating systems and the ease of use makes LINUX systems the choice of all leading web based companies. We support Perl, PHP, Java etc.

34. Is a site manager/control panel available with my website?
Yes absolutely. Both hosting packages include a feature rich and very user friendly control panel/site manager. This is included and enables you to manage your entire site with ease. You will be able to set-up your email accounts, view detailed traffic statistics, and perform various other admin tasks with the click of a button.

35. What is your refund policy?
No refund will be made for domains name registration once the domain had been registered. Refund is only applicable for Web Hosting if you are not satisfied with our service within 7 days from order date subject to 10% administrative charges
